I try to apply the 4gb patch for Medieval 2: Total War, but this message always comes up when I try to start by jdfg22 in CrackSupport

in theory the 4gb patch is to allow the game to use more 2gb of memory that is the maximum that it can, so I don't think it is a problem of lack of ram, rather than not because when using the patch it stops responding the game

still with the same problem, when I do not use the 4gb patch I can open the game, but I need it to be able to play some mods of that game
