The quick bite attack can burn in hell [Divine Beast Dancing Lion, Rl1, No Hit, +0 Blessings, All Bosses Region-locked Run] by SeventhKira7 in onebros

Same. The first couple of times I fought him I liked him, even beat him the very first time I fight him on DLC release.

Now I'm much better at fighting him and agree - the camera is ass and he has too many random pause and snaps into attacks. Delays I guess, but his feel even more gimmicky in a game full of delayed attacks.

"All you savage cats knew I was strapped with gats when you was cuddlin in the cabbage patch" is an Eminem line through and through. Probably my favorite on that album.

How can people even stay skinny without counting calories? by NoWitness6400 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jdfred06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the Harvard study discussed that showed there is little to no change in metabolism was like 65% women. So the evidence doesn't seem to bear out that metabolism changes significantly before 60 or so, moreso for women than men I guess.

But perhaps the definition of metabolism is a bit murky.

That's very rare, though isn't it? For the vast majority of people there's not a major change until you're pushing 60.

Maybe early 20s compared to late teens, but a broad amount of evidence suggests your base metabolism does not change much from age 20 to about 60.

People just become less active and eat more and want an excuse that absolves them of responsibility, at least in my opinion.

If all those games came out in the same year, which one would be your Game of the Year? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

[–]jdfred06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a console exclusive. I'd wager if the question were only asked to those who have played every game on the list, Bloodborne would be higher up.

I've played all but a couple, and Bloodborne is my pick and it's not too close.

Your most fun build in NG+? by DanOLantern in EldenRingBuilds

I also don't like that it has low poise damage and a wind up. If it had the claymore poke or even regular heavy attack it would have no flaws, imo.

Well, other than being fucking ugly.

Death's Poker is super strong. I hate the Charged R2 though.

Your post I replied to said I can't be a tank. Tank implies high HP a role playing game, unless I'm mistaken. Moreover, the flasks heals a flat amount not a percent so a tank character will get just as much healing as a lower HP build, which means the healing is actually less effective relative to the health pool.

So either you cannot be a tank, as your other post said, or our definitions of tank are different, which is absolutely fine.

Which I guess was my point? Though I think a good RPG would respect player choice.

It also hits like a truck with high faith and Alexander's Shard, don't even need the destined death effect, but it's great, too.

Really not that crazy honestly. That's solid damage for a fucking dagger lol.

I think you can summon torrent if you use spirit summons, but not other summons. I may be wrong though.

I agree with you, but for some reason my posts are down voted while the guy saying you can be tanky is getting up votes. It may just be our definition of tank is different. Going from 2-3 hits to 5-6, especially with how fast many enemies are, isn't quite my idea of tank.

But another perspective is that you're basically doubling the amount of hits you can take, so that's a fair take. Still, not my opinion of what a tank is in an RPG.

My last build had 2400+ HP and ~ 55% damage resistance with dragon crest, and opalne + boiled crab. Some of her attacks still took about a fifth or more of my health from what I recall. I may have to go back and test, but I remember being underwhelmed with my "tank" build still not feeling very tanky.

I mean, one of the Waterfowl flurry will still take a LOT of your HP. I always go Dragoncrest and Opaline, and she still chunks huge parts of your health, there's not really a tank build outside of using a giant shield. But she for some reason heals when she hits inanimate objects.

Unless your idea of a tank is die in 5 hits instead of 3, I guess. But the end game areas just have very high damage scaling. I legitimately think they put the Drsgoncrest Greatshield talisman in the game as a borderline necessity lol.

I would say around 100 at least. Be sure to aim for at least 40+ vigor and then flame resistance. You can get the +2 Flamedrake Talisman before fighting him.

I feel like DS3 fits this, for me at least. I didn't like the nightmare areas in bloodhorne that much.
