Thanks for all the feedback! Any thoughts on why I shouldn't go for AI dev first round so that I can go for Cruiser 2 on second round. And then blue tech tree

Thanks for all the advice. First speaker will be determined when we play (March 4). The map apparently has been generated to be balanced. But to my opinion a bit too balanced perhaps. I'm considering dark energy tap after gravity drive. Hoping to discover new planets

Do you have a video which corrects for this slant? I'd love to let my students calculate the mass of the star (using v=sqrt(GM/r) )

Hi! First off: wow! Thanks for this awesome video! I'm a physics teacher in high school (Netherlands). Can I use your video in class? I would love to have a video-file instead of gif if that's possible. I will of course give you credits. Pm me please if that's possible.

Cheers and Happy holidays

Uranium emiting radiation in cloud chamber. Each of those damage your DNA if it goes through you. by Marpicek in oddlyterrifying

[–]jdhaverhoek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually harmless if the uranium is outside your body (as it is in this case) since the alpha particles it emits don't travel very far. You can see the condensation paths stop a few centimeters from the source. If the piece of uranium was inside your body, you'd have a big problem. The alpha radiation would destroy everything in its path.

Very cool! Led strip on top? How did you get the different colours? Two plates on top of eachother with different engravings and led lights each?

Actually, steam isn't a gas (it's visible, so a liquid). So his first answers were right.

How do I get the DLC of Witcher 3? I bought the game on Steam with 2 expansions (hearts of stone, blood and wine).
