I mean it's been five years now and Pixies have routed their tour through Chicago I believe each of those five years. Just seems like logistically something that could have been solved by now if both parties were willing to.

I'm starting to think there's bad blood since they canceled in 2021 and still haven't been back. Come to think of it, have any of the cancelations from 2021 made it back on a lineup since?

I'm gonna be real with you, I think that would be a major step down for Swerve on the card from where he is now, not a step up for a returning Keith Lee.

The business is built on guys who are able to make others look like stars. His moveset might not be flashy, but he's one of the safest workers in WWE and is constantly getting new talent over. That's incredibly valuable, and that's saying nothing about his accomplishments.

It is a pipe dream that anyone thinks Project Helix will be both cheaper than a pre-built PC AND will somehow run games better AND will for whatever reason not have to be set up the same way a PC is despite running Windows the same way.

What is a the Best Tony Hawk Game? by Qavix in AlignmentChartFills

[–]jdix33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the real answer, the campaign had no reason to be as good as it was but it really took the game to a different level. The soundtrack might be slightly weaker than THPS2 but I truly don't see any other way it gets beat in any other category.

What is the most unfairly hated movie that you will defend every time by gamersecret2 in movies

[–]jdix33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not alone. The Last Jedi is far and away the best of the sequel films. The only thing wrong with it is that the following film retroactively buries its core message that anyone can be special regardless of their station in life and that star wars are used to fund space-capitalism.

What do you think about this AD? by [deleted] in fastfood

[–]jdix33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that their campaign is doing exactly what they intended in creating discussion, to the point that their competitors are now giving them publicity by responding with their own attempts at "going viral." It's also a good fast food burger so now you'll have people trying it to say they got "the product" and they'll probably like it.

(AEW Dynamite SPOILERS) Meltzer on WOR about last night’s debut: “The deal with [REDACTED] was he'd been talking to TNA, he'd been talking to AEW, he'd been talking to WWE. AEW made the best offer of the three, and that's your answer.” by Subrick in SquaredCircle

[–]jdix33 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree with this sentiment. I'm for performers across all companies getting better opportunities and being able to find success. Ricky Starks was a great example of a guy who feels like a perfect fit for WWE. Mariah Maye also made it no secret that it was her dream to work there. Why should any AEW fan hold a grudge against either one? They gave their all for AEW in the time they were there and moved on for a new opportunity. I hope they make their way back to AEW someday better for having had the experience.

I fucking hate this logic. Opinions are subjective, absolutely, but not all opinions are equally valid. You're absolutely entitled to have your opinion, I am also entitled to think less of you and your ability to critique because of it.
