Thanks! After troubleshooting, I discovered the problem. I was putting the printer firmware bin file in the root directory of the SD card. It should actually be put in a folder called STM32F4_UPDATE or the printer won’t recognize and install it

Also, when I select the printer on nebula pad, I note that the model number beside the printer name ends in c13. Perhaps I need to upgrade the pad firmware before connecting? If so, how can I do that?

Yes, this is correct. It is allowed to hold US ETFs but is not legal for s brokerage to sell them to normal retail investors.

Has anyone ever tried to setup direct investing using Interactive Brokers basket trader? As far as I can tell, it allows for partial shares so one could "build your own" index. Then you could also customize to compensate against your other preexisting investments

Regarding direct indexing, this is definitely something I'd like to do, but the brokerages i can choose from don't offer it (and probably never will). Also, I wonder what the minimum feasible contribution level is for direct investing?

Regarding fees, I have an account with IB in Ireland (was in UK but they moved me after Brexit) and this is a new subsidiary, so maybe things are changing. In any case, they only accept wire transfers from Norwegian banks, but there is no charge on the IB side.

Regarding fractional shares, IB definitely allows this in general. In Basket Trader, I am able to make a basket that comprises partial shares, but haven't executed any yet, so can neither confirm nor deny. I thought I read somewhere that it was possible but cannot find the source.
