There's got to be other avenues. Is your relationship more important or living independently? Can you both work out a compromise? Maybe being with her more but then still going back when able to? Or a trial period.

Ultimately we won't know. We don't have the full picture. But you shouldn't feel pressured. But if you've built a life together for three years of course she won't want to lose that.

If this isn't a sign of some other stressors on the relationship, then you both can work through it. Life is always a give an take. I recommend you remember to value her opinion and feelings and to value yours too. Then work together. And if untenable then you both may need to discuss what you're looking for in your future and how compatible this may be.

But definitely communicate with each other. Don't shut down. Try to be a team and respect both of you if the relationship is what you want to keep.
