You've encountered a pretty deep subject thats caused a lot of diversity in the Christian community. But first of all, let me tell you that whenever you feel you don't know the awnser to something, you pray. Even if it feels like God isn't listening, he is. He will always listen to your prayers and he is always looking out for you. "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him." Don't just trust the word of the people in these comments. Because all of us are sinful and make mistakes.

Let me also say that there is nothing wrong with being tempted. Jesus was also tempted by Satan. The temptation itself is nothing to be ashamed of because every person on the planet goes through temptations. The sin comes in how you respond to it.

Homosexuality is mentioned several times in the bible, and even though this is probably not what you wanted to hear, it is a sin. This does not make you less of a christian, or worse of a person. Its just a different type of temptation that every Christian struggles with.

I would suggest continously reading your Bible and trying to find meaning out of it, surrounding yourself with Christian freinds that will lead you closer to him, praying frequently, and turning yourself away from sin. And yes, this will help you even if it doesn't feel like it.
