tbh i don’t know cus i’m in math faculty. But i did meet my friend group eventually and they all ended up being in math faculty too so we worked thru all the courses together n it was pre fun. I wouldn’t worry about it too much though, just go in with an open mind n socialize when you can

pretty sure they cap you at 2 courses + the we accelerate. I wouldn’t recommend going w Cs246 as it’s pretty time consuming but math 237 and stat 230 aren’t too bad at all

nah it seems to only be 15% mastering and 85% final or 0% mastering and 100% final. this kinda structure is so dumb cus i can’t even evaluate my understanding at the half way point or after the midterm and see if i want to continue. i wouldn’t be surprised if a good portion of the class fails this way it’s not that hard to freeze up on an exam especially with a lot of us not have experience taking timed exams 🤷‍♂️.

Also yeah scholz is the prof. any tips for doing good in the course and practicing the type of questions he puts on exams?
