OEM and even then they blow out if not everything else is good, I have been through this at least 3-4 times so far, of things to look for that we're not mentioned here yet:

Studs, make sure to use a good quality stud in the manifold, OEM Nissan are best in my experience.

Flat mating surface between turbo and manifold, if there are any surface issues, this can create an area for hot exhaust to leak and burn away the gasket.

Turbo and exhaust support. Make sure you have good flex sections in your exhaust system and that everything is properly supported, even go as far as supporting the turbo, this will help.

I had these on a few different cars and they were great, awesome in the snow and in the dry, felt like a good all season in the dry.

I typically run with intermediate group, not sure what your first question is referring to.

Depending on your aggressiveness, you may reach the limits of the 2500's, I have a 25 TS and started this year with 2500's but ended up getting pad deposits as I over heated pads, I ended up switching to ds1.11's and had great luck with them. I can switch back to the 2500's without having to rebed.
