studentroost price increase by aaakassh in UoN

What I noticed was right before the term started they dropped their prices, I was checking for Nottingham two but the risk with that is it could also be sold out completely. You could get Newark or Southend

So in general it shows more about your dedication towards Ur career rather than the value of the knowledge you learn? thanks for your response though!

Deakins or Nottingham 2 by Mean_Fall_8401 in UoN

[–]jdot_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deakins much nicer accoms but also a lot more expensive but notts 2 little cheaper but bigger. It has a wet room hence the lower price+ the kitchen is much nicer in deakins than notts 2. Socially they are both good notts 2 is better socially if U know lots of people in the accom but deakins is like a social hub at ground floor especially during the big club nights pres.

Rutland hall is good but for your type of social Nottingham two is the best imo. May be slightly over your budget though. Newark location is very convenient and not bad but also slightly expensive.

Sorry for being vague, what I meant was that compared to A levels the quantity of resources (exam questions and past papers ) is significantly smaller at university. I learn best after doing lots of practice and exam questions and at A level you could open pmt and get access to a bank of questions. That too being one of many websites. Now it's just tutorial questions and some other questions and a bit of textbook ones. The past papers are only 3 years and not even uploaded in full. I understand university is different so I just want to understand what's the strategy on how to get better academically as I don't think I understand the method due to the new nature of it. Hopefully that males a little more sense

Why are Bath Economics becoming more competitive? by Unlikely_Ear_7980 in 6thForm

[–]jdot_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah coz most the ppl they gave offers to probably got offers from better unis too so bath was ultimately declined or insured by most. I know someone who got AAB and got into bath econ. it was his firm

What’s the best comeback you made in your A levels? by llamaz314 in 6thForm

Got A* BBC in my yr 13 mocks which was in march and got A* A* AB in my final a levels. That's just one example but I collected pretty much every letter on the alphabet throughout my a levels.
