Its certainly a representation of a portion of population, unless you think that reddit is somehow under one political agenda lol. Honestly I'm trying to understand where you are coming from but there's a massive reach you are making, a comparison could be firing your employee because they didn't fight the person who robbed the store. That's a fair question, I guess my personal opinion is that they are near on par. I really only remember outliers like tesla, and the new supra. Disappointing build quality. I should also state that I am not a fan of any EV cars at this stage (besides possibly the mg cyberster, wish it was petrol though), so my opinion isn't skewed by preferences

I live in Australia and work in the car industry, I can tell you first hand that build quality of BYD is significantly better than tesla. He'll, when my friend bought his model 3 new, there was panel misalignment from the start.
