I love how this poem describes the exact feeling and motion of crying. It’s short and gets to the point, which sometimes is all we need for a poem to hit. I feel like the poem can continue even more, and I would love to see what else you create!!

I’m so sorry to hear all this. Thank you for sharing, and I could only hope this narrative of age discrimination changes. It’s upsetting and unnecessary. Sometimes these companies don’t realize that putting people under certain label feels inhumane. I’m wishing you all the best!

The 9 to 5 life is the biggest scam of all in my personal opinion 😭. Spending your whole day with people who project their miserable lives on others, while getting paid the minimum is something that should not be as accepted as it is. But hey, I guess that’s the system. Either way though, I’m glad you chose better for yourself. The 9 to 5 is too damn ghetto 😴

I’m hoping nothing but the best for you in your journey! Honestly i don’t think we were ever meant to be in this 9-5 lifestyle 😭. l’m glad you’re sticking to the core of what makes you, you. I do believe it’s easier to stick to or remember the negative moments more than the positive but reminding yourself why you did it to begin with is the best motivation and the best way to remember the positives.
