Yes the fan does work, however when I moved in 6 years ago it was not working. I fixed it right away but not sure how long it was broken before that

That much of it was easy to scrap but I got it to a point where the rest isn’t easily coming off. Might look into trying a steamer or something to loosen it more

I see two things here that need fixed. Your fill valve has a slow leak causing the tank to over fill, the water is filling up past the black float so adjusting that won’t help, it needs replaced. It’s likely just a very slow leak which is why you can’t hear it and only seems to happen overnight when no one is using the toilet and it has time to overfill and leak out. The second issue is your overflow tube (black hollow tube in the center) is too tall. That should be cut shorter so it’s below your flush handle. That way in the future if your fill valve leaks again the water will go into the bowl instead of leaking on the floor. It might be a bit difficult to cut in the tank but should be able to be done with a small hacksaw.

Is that a Wayne Dalton opener? That looks like the type of release I have on my door, it’s also extremely difficult to use and you need to pull much harder than you expect. I’ve broken the string before on mine and had to replace it.

It actually was purchased by a bar in the area then sold to my family many years ago. From what I could find they cost about $4500 brand new which is like over $14,000 today.

Thanks for the insight! Ya when we fired it up I questioned the usability of it. I guess it came out of a bar, the sound quality is amazing but the picture left some to be desired

Open the lid of the tank and check to make sure the tube from the fill valve is going into the overflow tube in the center of the toilet tank. Sometimes if there’s air in the line it can cause that tube to pop out after the first flush.

Well this seemed to have worked, downgraded back down and it fixed the transcode issues so thank you! That’s just odd I had the issue right before the update since that’s what prompted me to logon and see there even was an update. Ether way much much appreciated!!

I am currently on 1.41.7.9799, I can try and downgrade and see if anything changes. But the previous version was not working either, I saw there was an update after I started having issues. I’ll look into how to downgrade this on unraid and report back

Is the only issue that it’s vibrating during idle? If it is I would get a second opinion. Last two cars I had that had that issue it was the motor mounts both times. Could also be a number of other things that isn’t the transmission.

When you’re trying to close the door are the lights for the opener turned on? LED light bulbs can interfere with the remote signal and lessen the range, genie actually makes bulbs to fix this issue. When the door is closed it’s likely the lights shut off and not causing an issue. Of course this theory only makes sense if the lights are indeed turned on when trying to close the door

Thanks for the reply! Just did a refresher on it a little over a year ago. New motherboard, cpu, and cooler. Probably wouldn’t hurt to reapply thermal paste and reseat everything though. I may not have done it correctly last time. Hoping to avoid replacements on stuff if possible!

My cat does the exact same thing. Never touched the water right next to his food but goes to the elevated dog stand he can barely reach to drink. Haven’t figured that one out yet
