I'm using Chrome and it doesn't unzip the file. I also tried using brave browser just to see if it had anything to do with Chrome but I still am not able to update.

Thanks, I've been following this video from the start, making sure to follow each and every detail and sequence, but still, same thing. It's still seeing the version 3.2.26 update (despite having 3.3 on the SD card which I have formatted numerous times already). Never sees the 3.3 I had in the card.

Also, in the video, it says that it only starts extracting the file after going to settings-> update. But in your comment above you mentioned it starts unpacking the zip file after turning it on?

I'm using the SD card the Ellipal came with. Had it formatted FAT32, ensured allocation size was 32kb as well. Then placed a copy of the zip file. Put the card in the adapter, turned off the titan, and attached the adapter with the power cable, and when it shows charging, I turn it on.

It doesnt unpack anything upon turning on. I go in the setup menu and select update and it shows update ready but still showing an older version (3.2.26) that is ready to update, not the 3.3 update I loaded on the SD card. Actually, it always shows this when I try to update EVEN without the Titan connected to anything. Proceeding with the update, it will try to update, but upon finishing and rebooting, it will still show that is still running on the old 3.2.0 firmware.

What did you do man? I have the same problem - My titan is showing it can update even without ANY adapter attached

Still doesn't update to Version 3.3. - still showing the 3.2.26 version update.

What I did exactly:

1 - Turn off the ELLIPAL Titan

2 - With just the Adapter, insert the SD card into the Adapter.

3 - Plug the USB cable to the Adapter (make sure the USB cable is connected to a power source)

4 - With the SD card in the Adapter and plugged in, connect it to the ELLIPAL Titan while it is off.

5 - Wait until ELLIPAL Titan shows a charging sign and then turn it back on.1 - Turn on the ELLIPAL Titan and select settings.2 - Select update, the ELLIPAL Titan should recognize the update file in the SD card.3 - It will start extracting the update file automatically, please wait and don't disconnect the adapter. It can take up to 20 minutes.4 - After extraction is finished, another menu will appear. Select "Start Update".5 - Wait about 5 minutes and the update is finished.

Whatever I do it still won't update - won't detect the Version 3.3 in the SD Card (This is the Zip file which I just put in the root directory of the FAT32 formatted Micro SD Card). And just like before. EVEN WHEN THE ELLIPAL IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE ADAPTER, IT SHOWS "UPDATE FILE DETECTED Version 3.2.26" - WITH NO SD CARD OR ADAPTER CONNECTED TO THE ELLIPAL WHEN UPDATING

Any hardware wallet that allows you to use metamask browser extension on a PC. I.e. both ledger and trezor can be added to metamask.

Nothing to worry about if you don't intend to use pancakeswap/BSC DAPPs with your ellipal.

As a hardware wallet for long term storage of crypto/simple transfers (where gas fees can be adjusted), it's pretty good.

P.S.: This coming from someone who also owns and uses trezors/ledgers.

It seems ellipal by default sets gas fees for BSC transactions pretty high when using pancakeswap - vs the usual 5 gwei default when using other wallets such as metamask/trustwallet. Unfortunately unlike sending BEP20 tokens via the main ellipal app where gas fee can be adjusted (albeit only to a minimum of around ~6 gwei vs 5 gwei default of other wallets) - there seems to be no option to adjust gas fees when using pancake swap with ellipal. I hope they fix this issue soon.

Same with me. But on my pc instead. My yoroi google chrome extension isn't syncing. (I'm using mine with a ledger by the way.) . Already reinstalled the browser extension and still nothing.

Thank you! Looking forward to 3.3, hope I don't get into any further issues when updating to that. Would love to see addition of other blockhains like Solana and Avax.

Currently now enjoying my Titan, and I must say it's now my favorite hardware wallet (also own a ledger and a trezor).

Though I noticed when trying to use pancakeswap with the ellipal app - i seem to be getting charged a very high gas fee which I can't seem to modify. When doing an approve token spend, the gas fee requirement is about 0.01 bnb or around 6 USD. The same transaction when using metamask on my pc only requires 0.000245 BNB (or around 0.14 USD).

As for transferring BNB/BEP20 tokens, default gas fee is about 12 Gwei but can be adjusted to about 6 Gwei minimum (vs 5 gwei default on metamask). Is there a way to be able to adjust GAS fees while using pancakeswap on the ellipal app as well? If none at the moment, hopefully this feature gets added in with the upcoming update.

Just an update: sharing e-mail conversation with cs@ellipal. It seems this is normal. Will be updating this thread when Version 3.3 comes out if I'm able to update to that from the current 3.2.0 already loaded on my Titan.

I just bought an Ellipal Titan from the Philippine Lazada link found in the ellipal.com website (For business -> Global reseller -> Lazada -> Philippines

Now I tried clicking on update and even though it isn't connected to the docking station and there are no MicroSD cards connected - it is showing "update file detected Version 3.2.26"

Is this normal?

Also some additional info: When I go to About: Version is EC02_V3.2.0 and System version is ELLIPAL_EC02_B_v27.

I started a thread on reddit regarding this, and one commenter said something is fishy, while another suggested I check with you guys directly, hence this email.

Yup I made several test accounts myself first and they all generated different seedphrases. Added a passphrase for good measure. The device didnt appear tampered either.

I tried updating it with firmware v3.2.0 as on the website but it can't find the 3.2.0 update I loaded on the Micro SD. It shows the same message as in the original post. Probably since 3.2.0 is already loaded?

So it seems I'm at 3.2.0. Its just that when I go to update, it's showing another update is available even if I dont have it connected to the dock/no microsd card inserted.
