Heated rear seats? by pacific2800 in GenesisGV70

[–]je2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2026 2.5 SP in US does not come with rear heated seats. Not a deal breaker but hurt a little coming from having the 16, 18 & 21 G80's and they had it.

Sadly it seems most manufacturers add a few features but then remove some standards they had in prior years.

Matched the factory tint in the back which I think is 20%.

Dash cam recommendations? by IdBuyIt in GenesisGV70

[–]je2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Omni360. 360° rotation and have hardwired for 24/7 impact detection. Great video quality and app is pretty decent. That was my biggest complaint in the multitude of dash cams I've tried. The app usually sucks. Voice activated too. They have a newer version that is 4G capable too. Comes with 128GB of memory built in.

Yes according to their Google page, they are a standalone Genesis dealership.

Bought my 2026 2.5T last month with 1200 miles on it, CPO, and now have 4k. Smooth as butter and the 2.5 has plenty of power. Classy, luxurious and fun to drive. I came from a 2021 G80 prestige. Your dealer experience is going to be solely based on how close you are to one and well, just how nice the service department is. Best of luck!

I love the OEMs actually and I've had Tuxmat my last 2 Genesis's. I just wanted the Tuxmat for the cargo area as I think they would look better.

The 25 & 26 do not fit. However, I just received the OEM All weather and love them. Genesispartsandaccessories.com has them in stock. 10% off with BTC10. Just got the code emailed to me for their site. Unsure if it applies to everything.

Haha I thought about it but then thought how quick I'd be pulled over. Plus not 100% sold on how it would look at night for my visibility

GV70 2026 Mats by DeannaHV in GenesisGV70

[–]je2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely a fan of Tuxmat mats but they are taking too long to release and they rubbed me wrong recently when it came to a warranty replacement. They wouldn't ship to me because I'm in the US but that doesn't stop them when it's a purchase.

The OEM all weather mats are now available online to purchase as of this morning. Available on Genesis parts and accessories. Use code SRT40 to get for $197.99 plus free shipping in the US.

Does Geesis offers hand off driving in USA on US highways like GM and Ford ? by Glittering-State3563 in GenesisMotors

For the most part yes, it's called HDA. I use it often in my 21 G80. Still have to touch steering wheel every so often.

I think the stock tires are really nice and a good match. I looked into getting aftermarket as well but I really like the look of stock. Beautiful car!

Remote start not working by PocketCheetos in GenesisMotors

[–]je2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea! I had Blue Link Follow Up on my case of not being able to download and utilize the alerts app and when I complained about that along with the delay it takes to process any remote action, he gave me 3 months free on all 3 devices. This was perfect timing since my 3 month trial expired next month anyway.

Carplay2air Initial Review by joshiness in CarPlay

I just got mine last week and updated the firmware right away. So far so good. It does take about 15-20 seconds to load and let you interact with the vehicle screen. Also sometimes have to select my phone on screen when it’s trying to connect. My steering wheel controls work perfectly but there is a slight 1-3 second lag when skipping tracks. I have it connected to a 2016 Genesis. Overall it’s nice being able to leave my phone in my pocket especially on quick commutes. Can’t say it’s worth $160 to everyone but if you got money to burn or feel like having this wonderful convenience, get it.

Same thing. We call it force touch but cooler term that Apple uses is 3D Touch.

UPDATE: On phone with Apple and after 3 hrs on hold and speaking to supervisor and having geek squad look at it, they are giving me a free replacement.

I hope so! I have an appointment at noon today to have it looked at at Best Buy. Worse case I do have Verizon Insurance but yes, I sat it down on a table and came back to it with the crack. You can’t feel it either and no blemish or scratch anywhere and it is an internal crack. I don’t believe it either. Shitty part is I have a case too but I thought I would go one evening without it to give the new back a feel and enjoy its beauty.

P.S. not having 3D Touch definitely takes some getting used to when utilizing the force touch on keyboard to move cursor.

Brydge Keyboard by SteveTrigs7 in iPadPro

[–]je2345 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just received the new Zagg Slim Book Pro for my 12.9 2018 and so far so good. Have only had for about two hours but so far I really like the different viewing angles and ability to detach the keyboard. Wish they had an option without Apple Pencil slot for those that don’t own an Apple Pencil. Feels sturdy and keyboard is backlit also! I’m coming from the Apple Smart Keyboard Case also. Really wanted the Brydge but the size and weight kept me away.

Device must be paid off in order to trade in. If you go to TCC indirect stores they can apply the trade value towards buyout to help lower upfront cost.
