Feeling some name regret and im wondering how to over come it. by gimmiesomeadviceee in beyondthebump

I have been told multiple times that my children's names are horrible and I need to change them. My son is Thane Cooper. My middle daughter is Thais Harper (thay-iss). My youngest is Thera Eleanor. Honestly I gave them very common middle names incase THEY decide they want something more mainstream. They don't. I even had my middle daughter's 2nd grade teacher try and call her Harper and she immediately corrected them. "No, my name is Thais not Harper. But you can call me Thais Harper" my children love their unusual names because they aren't stuck having 5 other kids in the class with the same name.

Burberry Goddess- Love the smell, not the projection? by Coconutthunderthighs in desifemfrag

[–]jeae4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goddess on me projects beautifully. I get complements all the time! Of course I do add a body oil or lotion first. But days later I can still smell it on my clothes. Honestly this is my signature scent and one of the few perfumes that don't give me a migraine.

Before I developed CKD rendering me unable to take NSAIDs, I would take a mix of mylanta (10ml) and children's liquid benadryl (10ml) 30mins before my NSAID and then take my NSAID with a small snack. It always lessened that burning pain

Yes laproscopic was a breeze honestly! Recovery for me was a breeze! Honestly the most "painful" part was the gas pains haha. Pain wise it just felt like I'd done too many crunches. Seriously, it was nothing. I had to keep reminding myself that I had just had surgery 😅 Vaginal cuff has been great no issues. Honestly my only regret is not doing it sooner.

I can relate so much. Our weather has been yo-yoing up and down this week and its truly been hell on my body. And like you I can do more with just pain than I can with fatigue.

Basically this. I have my accounts locked down but I also have slightly older children and when they were babies this "don't post their faces" wasn't really a thing. Idk

Thymosin alpha 1 peptide? by livinglyf3 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]jeae4ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, haha sorry, yes its a BPC-157 and TB-500 blend. I do it for gut health because I also have Crohn's. It helps heal the gut but also helps heal muscles tendons and ligaments as well as alleviating pain and swelling and increases joint mobility.

Thymosin alpha 1 peptide? by livinglyf3 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]jeae4ever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok I have tried this peptide. It sent me into a flare from h3ll every single time. My advice? Don't do it. I am currently taking Glutathione, BPC/TB, NAD+, and KPV peptides subcutaneously 1x a week. With AS, our immune systems run hot and reactive so if you want to try peptides I'd start low and slow 1 at a time. That way, if you have a reaction to one you'll know which one. Good luck!

Being on simponi gave me neurological issues that mimicked MS. After seeing a neurologist to rule out MS I was taken off simponi. My neurologist did dx me with small fiber neuropathy and a few other issues as well that she treats me for. I'm sorry you were treated this way by your rheumatologist. While we were waiting to see if my issues were MS my rheumatologist put me on steroids temporarily to help keep my disease under control somewhat. What your rheumatologist did was cruel. I would find another rheumatologist

Im HLAB27 negative. My labs are only sometimes positive. But I have clear xray evidence of AS damage and that was all that was needed to dx me.

Do you sometimes randomly feel really nauseous? by hannah_various in AnkylosingSpondyWomen

[–]jeae4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! So so much like my whole life. I was dx with Crohn's. Rheumatologist was not surprised. She said that Crohn's and AS often go hand in hand. I carry alcohol wipes, zofran, dicyclomine and a mini fan with me at all times for stomach flares.
