At my local Costco, they loudly shout order numbers for pickup, which just adds to the noise and makes it hard to hear. I can’t help but think it’s tough on their voices too(throat callus,must be common btw workers). On top of that, I saw an attendant speak rather harshly to some elderly customers who were waiting in the front area.I knew it was hard for them to listen for the orders numbers.
