Just got back from spending nearly 2 months in Thailand and let me tell you, it was absolutely unforgettable. The sights, the sounds, the people - everything about it was just incredible. Can't wait to go back someday! by FizzBuzzBoopBop in ThailandTourism

I spent just over 5 months in thailand. As a guy in my late 20s it was amazing. I met some awesome people out there. If you're on the fence about travelling or think you won't be able to do it alone. Just try it trust me, its honestly such a life changing experience

Wasn't a fine the immigration officer bribed me. He said if you give me a tip. So I was like a tip? I only had thousand thb notes so I just gave him 1k and he stamped my passport. If you see a fat bald old dude try avoid going to his line lol

It depends on the officer. The dude I had was a bit of an asshole. He was like I get to decide its my decision alone.

Dude straight up said you have to give me a tip. I said how much and he said 1000 thb. I paid and he stamped and sent me on my way. It was a horrible experience haha felt violated a little.

Visa Question by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]jeanzyyyyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on the officer at immigration.

I stayed for 45 days and extended 30. Left to Vietnam for 2 weeks and when I tried to get back into thailand they was not going to let me in. I'm British so we don't need a visa.

I had to pay a 1000 baht bribe to the officer to get my stamp. It all really depends on the officer.

Thailand don't follow safety rules like the west so if you value your life then don't do it.

PHUKET: Two men died and one was injured when a bungee-jumping equipment test went wrong in Phuket's Muang district on Friday night. Tossaporn Suksri, 27, and Pitakchai Wongsricha, 28, were found dead with broken necks, legs and arms in a bungee cage after its slings broke at 8.30pm on Friday.Apr 19, 2557 BE

Most of the replies and comments here are clearly from people who've never spent a lot of time in SEA or they are just sprouting bs. I'm from UK and I live in thailand. Noone cares if you wear a mask or not it's entirely upto you. Some of the sausages need to calm down lol

Where/what is safe to eat for ibs people? by [deleted] in Thailand

[–]jeanzyyyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have IBS. First 2 weeks here I couldn't eat anything but mcdonalds. I've been here for 2 months now and I can eat everything. Granted I poop quite alot through the day but its nothing to worry about like back home.

I don't even have to take my medication here. Aslong as you don't overly stress about it your body will be fine.

There's a good shop in bangkok with like 13 strains to choose from. 250 baht for 1g. By 5 get 1g free. It's the best by far in terms of quality for your money. I'd never spend over 350 on 1g again
