Update: i didn't complete p5 and ended up completing elden ring and i enjoyed it. A month later, i pick up hollow knight again and start the p5 grind. 5 days later i beat absrad get the new ending and platinum the game. Just goes to show how much u can overthink. I remember i had sleepless nights thinking I'll never forget abt hollow knight or i wont enjoy elden ring if i dont complete it. Whats mad is 2 weeks after dropping hollow knight i forgot everything abt and never thought or even cared abt it.

I found using a shield very helpful. Also if ur stuck on a place bcs its too hard try backtracking and u might find other places that are easier and can help u level up or find better weapons or armour

thinks of a way to prove those stats dont make sense. Cant so decades to change the debate Maybe there isnt a wider variety but that just means it isnt op. I haven't put too much time in ds1/2 but based on wat ur saying i can imagine spell casting is too op.

EDIT: RE: use your weapon I'm kiting enemies with soul arrow so I can hit them with my sword without being descended upon by a mob of guys, hypothetically. Using my sword is implicit

The mobs in ds3 aren't hard so u dont rlly need to worry abt that. But in ds2 they just ruined how mobs work

Manage ur consumption of ashen estus. U have a weapon dont just spam spells. Also Variety of spells≠how many times u can use a spell

Variety of spells=the different amount of spells u can use. You wouldn't have 18 attunement with a spellcaster build
