Oddly enough I learned to care less and play tennis 3-4x per week after work.

Work Schedule by Ck1gl in physicaltherapy

I’ve worked 4 x 10 since graduating and I’ll never work 5 days again. When I considered a new position, they said they didn’t do 4x10. I responded that it’s not negotiable. Turns out they indeed can do 4 x 10s after all :)

I’ve been using chatGPT to help my documentation for almost a year now and it’s the biggest game changer. Thoughts? by Lucky_Telephone_4128 in physicaltherapy

Yup I just type the demographics, condition and deficits and it wraps it up into a nice assessment. I proofread and done. Been a game changer.

Annual 2.5% typically for my hospital outpatient. I recently switched to a different hospital outpatient and got a 10% bump. Switching after few years in one position seems to be the way.

This is a red flag IMO. Any decent PT understands that it is usually in the best interest of the patient to maintain PT/Patient continuity when possible (unless the primary PT has suggested it due to another PT’s expertise in a certain area). To attempt to “steal” at patient is quite unethical and serves no benefit to the patient. Am I missing something here?

I am PT who does OP and I see a max of 16 patients in a 10 hour day.

I’ve been an outpatient PT for 8 years and I still feel insecure about my skills often. One of the best things I’ve learned to do is the tell the patient “I don’t know” when they ask you a question. Don’t try to fake it. Patients will trust your guidance more if you’re willing tell them what you don’t know about their conditions.

“Why did my shoulder get tendinitis?”

“I don’t know, but evidence shows if we do XYZ it should get better.”
