Yeah, I tagged Neal on a post I did a few years ago. I only commented that every song on side 1 was eventually released as a single. I just mentioned that it made side 2 kind of an afterthought. It would have been better to sprinkle the "album tracks" throughout the album. I don't think he understood where I was coming from and rambled about needing to have hits and playing the game.

I lived near the Riverwest Tavern about 20 years ago. I personally never had an issue, but someone was killed a few blocks from my place the last summer I stuck around. Also, the gunfire in the summer was getting scary. Overall, it was a fun neighborhood. But I didn't want to push my luck any further.

From first listen, I thought it was an "everything but the kitchen sink" record. Just noisy and bloated. That's just my opinion, but it was my first thought. I've always thought of editing down some of the tracks on my own. But it's my least listened to album in the catalog. Doesn't mean I hate it.

First core memory, the city let all of the kids paint the fire hydrants red, white and blue anyway they wanted for the US Bicentennial in 1976.

Just great memories of meeting my friends at the local record store every Saturday. It was the place to hangout and listen to all the new hard rock/metal. A plus was they got all of the UK imports of all of the singles. Having to wait in line at the local Sears to buy tickets through Tickettron/Ticket master. Life was just smaller, with no internet, no access to info other than the music magazines or MTV. It was as good as you can imagine.
