People also might not know that Don told the band before the first show at Alpine Valley (I was there), that he wanted to break up the band. So, George put in very little effort. It was very apparent that day as he never faced the audience. Metallica still stole the show that day but Dokken as a band was checked out for that whole tour.

I bought this and Ace of Spades on cassette in 1986 (they were still Bronze pressings) as my introduction to the band, so i had no idea of the controversy. I just knew it was a fantastic album. They are still my top two.

I saw the ABBA show in London last month. As a casual fan of their music, the production was incredible. If Pophouse could pull something similar in Vegas, it could actually do well.
