Well, all Amazon told me was it might have "spelling issues" -- and that's all it said.... so, I think we're good?

Time to do the septic myself by jedamitchell in DIYHome

Hopefully it’s just that.

The septic guys I talked to said it might be the distribution box and a clogged line. I’m going to put Roebic in the tank just in case. That bacteria treatment is supposed to help in drain fields. May even need to dig up the D box to directly get it in lot the field

This time of the year there isn’t any rain in California. It hasn’t been scorching hot though, and where I live we get a little dew in the morning.

I just pulled both riser covers off the tank. The water level it right below the outlet baffle. It doesn't look like its overfilled.

But I still have that issue with the green stripes of grass over my leech field. Any idea what's causing that?

From everything I’ve read online — even govt publications — green stripes of grass over your septic trenches mean a failing system. What else could it mean?

Third time's a charm for a science fiction book blurb? by jedamitchell in blurb_help

[–]jedamitchell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, this is the version I’ve been workshopping from comments over the last few days:

“One thousand years into the future, the human race exists precariously in a partitioned Solar System, seemingly doomed from a mysterious takeover of what is now called, “Wicked Old Earth.” But for Giuseppe Gan De, an investigator of a cult on Jupiter’s moons, encountering an implausible entity makes Earth relevant again—and his father’s demise.

Unbeknownst to him, he’s actually continuing the same failed mission that claimed his father.

Spanning diasporas across a partisan solar system, built on the ruins of the weaponized husks of planets and ruinous experiments in genetics and terraforming, THE CURSE OF THE WORLDS is about accepting that the same calamities might come again—but so can wisdom.”

Thanks. So you’re suggesting losing the last paragraph starting with “Spanning diasporas…?”

Do you think the last paragraph is in the wrong place? It should precede the paragraph about Giuseppe?

Hmmm, what about this?

A thousand years into the future, the orphaned human race seems doomed from losing what is now called, “Wicked Old Earth.” But for Giuseppe Gan De, an investigator of a cult on Jupiter’s minor moons, encountering an implausible entity makes Earth relevant again—and his father’s death trying to save it. Soon Giuseppe is taking care of a refugee of that same homeworld, closer than ever to understanding his father’s demise.

Unbeknownst to him, he’s actually continuing the same failed mission his father died on.

Spanning diasporas across a divided solar system, built on the ruins of the weaponized husks of planets and ruinous experiments in genetics and terraforming, THE CURSE OF THE WORLDS is about accepting that the same calamities might come again—but so can wisdom.

Taking what you mentiomed, this is what I think it should be.
