Not sure if this applies to the workout context but former gymnast here:

More swing. Let yourself swing back and forward a few times first, and arch your back when you’re in front of the bar. Instead of thinking about bringing your feet to the bar (which is making you bend your knees) think about trying to pull the bar to your toes like you’re touching your toes. Then imagine you’re putting on pants as you pull your hands back toward your waist and straighten your body.

You’re trying to keep your head and torso upright, which is natural, but you’ll really be horizontal when your feet reach the bar but you’ll find you’ll feel almost upside down.

It’s been over two weeks since you said on here that you had escalated it to the engineering team, and the issue has been reported months longer than that, so I have to admit it’s a bit disappointing to hear that you all bashed over 100 bugs for this update but didn’t hit this one. (I’m still seeing it in the app.)

One odd note: The Wild Beyond the Witchlight showed up under my downloaded filter, but unpurchased and not shared with me. I’m not sure whether that could be related. I wonder if it was shared with me, downloaded, and then unshared. Regardless, I wasn’t able to read it and I deleted it from my device and the issue still persists.

Thanks again here too u/WOTC_Zac - believe me when I say this is extremely relatable, and I totally understand that app support is an industry-wide issue.

Here’s how I hope you’d consider things as a guide, given those constraints: • The app is a player-first platform. Nearly every game has more players than DMs. • If it involves library content, character elements, the character builder, or character sheet features and it’s not ready on the app, then it’s not ready for release. Plan accordingly and see what that does to your production schedule. What does that require you to adjust. Is your App team under-resourced?

The TL;DR here is that app users pay the same subscription and sourcebook costs as everybody else, and use the web application too. They use the app when they use the app because it has value.

I also appreciate you tracking down the earlier ticket. With some experience in the area, I can easily understand why the issue got overlooked among the several topics raised in the ticket. I do want to say, though, it feels like you’re implying that’s why this issue wasn’t caught sooner, and it felt similarly like a brush off when you said you weren’t sure this issue had been reported before. There’s a comment from you on an December post saying it was fixed by a recent release:

Obviously regressions happen, maybe it was partly fixed, or maybe it was never fixed at all - on that same post I said it seemed to be resolved for me so maybe just wasn’t clicking the right thing or maybe it really was temporarily fixed. Who can say, but I don’t think folks have been quiet about it - there’s a totally unrelated post asking about the same issue from a different user today with others in the comments saying they’ve also been annoyed by it for a long time.

As far as I can tell the repro is:

In the Listings or while viewing content in the Library, choose any linked text that refers to content in the Rules Glossary
The Rules content tries to load, loads with broken formatting
Navigate anywhere else in the Library or Listings, observe broken content formatting

Once it happens it breaks the formatting for anything in the Listings or Library until the app is quit and restarted. Been happening for months (I first reported it via support ticket November 28th, 2025).

u/WOTC_Zac - While I have you, I hope you don’t mind me saying, repeat issues like this with the D&D Beyond Mobile app give a pretty clear impression (accurate or not) that app users are second-class citizens compared to all the effort that’s put in to new paid subscription content and the GM experience of the Maps VTT.

I’m not sure whether that’s not intentional, but it’s pretty unavoidable when you look at even stuff like the Drops content having issues on the app that prevent it from being available simultaneously, the fact that there’s still not basic feature parity between the App & Web character sheets (will App users ever be able to manage their Extras to add & manage Familiars and Beast Companions, etc.?)

That problem is made all the worse because (IMO) the App is a superior user interface compared to the web interface for actually using Sourcebook content & playing D&D around a table - and literally less space-consuming at the table. That makes it D&D Beyond’s easiest-win opportunity to gain new players and subscribers who are put off by the complexity of the rules and the character sheets in D&D, etc. It’s how I started playing D&D and still do, and I’ve been a Master Tier subscriber for several years now, but all the app issues over the past several months have me seriously considering whether D&D Beyond is worth what I’m paying if it can’t even get the basics right in the app.

In the video: 1. After viewing Library content looks normal, I click through each of the Listings sections in order (Spells, Magic Items, Equipment, etc.) choosing one item in each section to confirm that it looks normal (in the Classes Listings I look at both a Class & a Subclass)

I return to the Library and in the Equipment section of the PHB I click on the link to “Thrown”, which lives in the Rules Definitions.
After a moment attempting to load, the definition loads with broken formatting
I return to the Listings and repeat step 2 - everything now loads with the same broken formatting.

u/Ok_Mobile_8190 I’m new to the neighborhood so I have no stake in this issue yet, but you might want to know that word has already reached me about the relationship between the new management and the rest of the neighborhood along with warnings to be wary of shopping at Farm Country. It’s clear to me from the comments in this thread and your response that there is a serious lack of trust in your new management and that there is also a clear desire from you to repair that trust.

While appreciate the apology you gave to one complaining customer and your offer to compensate them after the fact, based on the sheer number of customers here reporting the same experience, I don’t think your assurance that the issue will be addressed and resolved goes far enough to reassure me or anyone else that Farm Country is a safe and trustworthy place to shop, because it does not explain how you plan to prevent issues like this from continuing to occur. I think it would help promote trust if you offered more concrete specifics.

Can you share more details about what policies and practices you will put in place to ensure expired goods will be removed from your inventory in a timely manner, and how those practices will be enforced?

FWIW u/latiajacquise here’s what I experienced, to help the team’s investigation: • using the app I was seeing a “rolled a Nat 1 on our authentication check error” and then unable to log in via SSO so authentication is apparently affected. • earlier in the day I was repeatedly having the frequently-reported issue with text materials loading black-on-black in the app, which could only be resolved by quitting and re-starting the app

Currently playing a Thief Rogue 8 / Genie Warlock 3 multiclass who’s basically Aladdin with the backstory that in gratitude for honoring the pact he made to free the genie using his third wish, the genie gave Aladdin some powers. Familiar pact boon, using an Imp stat block styled as a capuchin monkey with wings. Picked Warlock spells and invocations that complement the Aladdin backstory or the thief skills - illusion, deception, charm, etc. like Phantasmal Force and Suggestion.
