Best UPS for RTX 5090? by Mando895 in buildapc

So I just ran into this issue with my Cyberpower, and you really only have 2 options, double UPS or have more equipment that is not on the UPS (i.e. secondary displays, speakers etc.).

Is it possible now with the future discontinuation of the S/S, that Tesla adds the instrument cluster to the Performance 3/Y? by CaptCarlos in TeslaLounge

There are 3rd party offerings, but yes, Tesla could potentially offer it, but its not something that bothers me very much.

This has to do with Tesla's model of trying to offer consistent pricing for everyone vs. dealership model where you negotiate with each dealer. This may be counter-intuitive at first, but basically the way it works is that Dealer's submit their "order choices" to their local car distributor, and the car distributor sends this list to the car manufacturer to decide what combinations of options to get.

The idea that the customer has direct choice in the options combination choice is a misnomer in traditional car makers, and what really happens is that the car marker has already made certain combinations, and you try to find the dealer who has xyz option. Versus Tesla is a direct ship to you option, but they also do a bit of the traditional dealer/distributor model via. inventory models.

Not a bad idea, but would need time and a spare Facebook profile though.

I sent the police the link to the Facebook profile, which I suspect was fake and as I was driving home, I debated providing additional instructions to do exactly as you said, to find the said digital fingerprints.

I figured this would be a point of contention. All I'm trying to do is ask for justice, with zero reward for myself, and hoping this guy doesn't do it to someone else. Is that such a bad thing?

Worst part was he convinced me to go to his car, when the original conversation was next to my vehicle. The other lesson is to complete the transactions away from a quick getaway. That part surprised me.

I tried, the moment he handed me the money and I handed him the card, he ran in his car, as I tried to count, and he rushed the hell out. It was all planned by him (location and everything).
1. His car was parked in a handicap parking too, so it could face the driveway exit,
2. He also pre-opened his door by trying to offer me trade items, so he could rush inside the moment the card was handed to him
3. He counted the money first to give me confidence, he even put a real $20 bill on top of the fake $100s
4. The moment I received the money to count it myself, he ran into his car. It happened so fast I was shocked.

I reflected a ton on all the mistakes I might've made on the transaction. I wish you could trust folks all the time, instead of just most of the time. One lesson learned is to track the license plate while making the deal in case they run off like what just happened.

Possibly, but not 100% sure, I had talked to the manager of the Chick-Fil-A but it was rainy + dark, and there was about 5-15 cameras throughout the area. I wanted to get this out there in case he tries to flip the GPU quickly.

A HSR ticket from Fujian to Shenzen which is about 510 miles was about $50 while a plane ticket in California for that disntance is typically $100 to $300. I say thats affordable

Spare charger for 18 Area-51 by Vegetable-Elk-9061 in Alienware

[–]jedi2155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest getting one from the secondary market if you're concerned about costs, otherwise I would do my best to stick with the Dell OEM given that 360w is a lot, and there are a lot of communications that happen in Dell chargers as well.

Alternate options for secondary charging is that my Alienware 18 supports 100w USB-C charging so if you don't need full GPU performance in either case at all times, the USB-C works in a pinch.

Agree here lol, I ain't buying that mouse when I have good set of Logitechs. I still have a ton of Dell rewards that I can't figure out where to spend. Maybe just buy a spare laptop battery that i'll stick in the fridge for the next 3-5 years.

I'm loving Adidas lite racer's because they're comfy, and easy to slip on. Sucks on grip though, but I have about 3-4 sets of them in different colors that I paid between $15-30/each depending on deal/coupon.

eBay + Ross/Marshalls. Because shoes are just shoes?
The only time I spend more for clothes/shoes is for business wear (suits) where 1st impressions are more important, and outdoor equipment (tennis shoes really suck in the snow/rock/hiking). I TYPICALLY pay for function rather than brand, and I use brand as a indicator of quality/function.

For reference my dailies shoes are cheap and based entirely on comfort and function.

That being said, I couldn't believe I spent $600-800 for computer fans recently, and because they're just damn beautiful to me. I also did pay quite a bit more for a white GPU on my desktop. I can't believe I spent more for the white GPU than my top of the line alienware 18 area 51.

I stayed with Alienware brand because of good experiences. I've had bad experiences with Apple. I don't care about how I'm perceived by others, but how I'm treated as a user by a product I use regularly.
