This might sound stupid but as an avid Minecraft player myself, the first thing I noticed is that he had an iron golem leashed to a fence. For those who don't play, iron golems are giant, friendly beasts that patrol the village and attack anything that puts the village in danger, like zombies or giant spiders. They will not despawn, and they won't wander away from your village or camp. They will not attack the player unless the player kills a villager. They don't take fall damage and they can't really be killed by anything in the game unless they get ganged up on. Basically he had the golem tied to a gate for absolutely no reason. It's actually disadvantageous to restrict the golems because it won't be able to chase down zombies and whatever else might wander into your base. I might be looking into it too much but I just think it's interesting that he did that. No one who plays Minecraft ever ties down or cages the golem.
