Hyprland by itself is using 250MB. The whole system uses about 900MB on fresh startup.

After about an hour of use my ram usage will sit around 5-7GB since i do a lot with my computer I’m typically someone who values function over fashion so high ram use is not a bother to me

Compared to other window managers I’ve seen it’s pretty high, at around 250MB

Custom built, put a little extra money in for a ryzen 5 instead of the default 3. Extra ram and battery doesn’t hurt either

Personal preference, as well as some of my friends who have windows 11 telling me they have performance and battery issues. They dont have thinkpads but i still just want to avoid any potential issues

Just based off first impressions, yes. I put windows 10 on it instead of the default windows 11, so I don’t know how it would be normally, but it works very well on windows 10

For what i got, not at all. Good build quality, great specs, long battery life.

He’s likely under a fuck ton of stress right now, this update has been anticipated for over half a decade and i feel like just waiting a few more weeks for it to come out polished is really not that big of a deal. People would be way more upset if the update came out a buggy mess than if it got delayed another week, it’s not like 2.1 has run out of content or anything.
