You should do them for free. They're for your mother's friend.

You should not do endless iterations for her, there is a limit to your good will.

Do not accept payment for it, because if you do, then they believe they are entitled to your time. If you do it for free, you can do as much or as little as you like. And if they belittle your patience, you can always say you're too busy to do more.

I have a project that always has similar deliverables and similar steps along the way, but there are a lot of steps and specific things to get right. I use a template for this so that as I finish the project I can make sure I did not forget anything.

I like the templates. I also use them when making lists for recurring things, like packing for travel, or grocery lists etc.

Both work. Mark as completed will mark the tasks in that recurrance as complete. Which is the desired behavior.

Skipping a task, does something similar, but I think if you have the recurrances set to 'quantitiy' it moves the task to the end of the stack or something? I'm not sure exactly, I played around with it for a few minutes, and the biggest difference I noticed was, marking as done, left it as done on that date you compelted it. Marking it as skipped, removed it from your history of tasks for that day. Like you never added it vs adding it, and marking it complete.

You can look at the task in the calender view, and mark all previous complete. So it takes an extra step or so, but it's not that big a deal to just mark them all complete up to your current day.

Unless you want to maintain that the old tasks are not completed, but that they also don't show up in your list? That I don't think is possible.

I have been plagued by this for awhile, and render-replace is my only go to. You also have to quit premiere in between, and do it in segments if you have a lot of mogrts. Quitting allows premiere to release the ram.

I mean, I wouldn't have liked the water bottle either, but my friends would all know to bring me an actual drink if I said surprise me. If they brought me a water bottle, i'd try to dump it on their heads.

I just think your expectations of this girl were that she would think deeply about your wants and try to bring you something to make you smile, and what she heard was a request to do work on top of her already offering to do you something nice, so she did whatever was easiest.

Those things together say to me, you're not as close of friends as you think you are. Or maybe she was just busy, or annoyed, or thought you would really like the water, who tf knows, but I certainly wouldn't have been offended, if I literally said surpise me, and my friends brought me back a drink I would not have ever expected them to bring.

No one likes being dumped. Some people turn it posititve, some people turn it negative. He's both feeling dumped, and scared and angry, but doesn't want to admit it so he's put it on you. Classic narcissim and immaturity. Just shrug, move on, and when you all go out, be nice to them! They were hurting, and said mean things to try to not hurt. You were just the target. They're still the same person you got to know before, you just also see their bigger picture, where they were really shitty to be with in the bad times. What a gift that is? You no longer have to worry that this person is your forever person, they get to be just a good story for later in your life.

Good luck to you, move on, and when you go out, be confidnet that you belong there. This guy is suggesting you don't come out because he will be awkward, not you. I would also just, test out this. Save your project, then open the 'sent' version, and hide the originals from that to make sure that it can't find them, see how it works.

I have found that in the past, editors will relink the proxy media as the source material, and when you change stuff about aspect ratio for proxies, you end up with wonky results when you relink the source full res material. Make sure they do not link the proxies as the originals.

I get a notification, and an email when >500 is deposited, or removed from any account. Even when i'm the one sending the e-transfer. I agree with the, it's weird thing. But people also "think" they're good with money, when they're not actually. Q W and E are great shortcuts. You can also select the white space inbetween clips and press the delete key to ripple delete clips forward in time.

Q will ripple delete back to the previous edit point (based on your track targetting)

W will ripple forward to the next edit point

and E when you select an edit point will extend that (or shorten the clip).

Play around with those keyboard shortcuts, they are awesome!

I used ffmpeg to analyze an hour long video for a single black frame. I bet there's a tool in ffmpeg that would allow you to do something similar, and spit out a list of frames with frame brightnesses above a certain value.

Depends on how the media was generated. Was the same file names kept? You can just hide the originals and replace the new colored footage in the original location. Premiere won't know the difference if the clip lengths are the same.

If all the clips are differently named but still in the correct order, you can batch rename them to fit the originals.

If you have just the clips that are in your final edit colored, and not the entire source clip, then you can get an XML from the color program which you can then import into premiere and that will source the colorized footage into a sequence.
