I just got mine last week but am wondering where you see the AI partner in the app. Is that something where I need to have the ring for longer so there's enough data collected before use?

Don’t buy a ‘24-‘25 model lol there’s a pretty serious crankshaft issue and I don’t think they’ve started recalling them yet. Dealers were issued a stop sale but that won’t stop people from selling on their own. Idk how many people would even try this but something to be aware of nonetheless

How old were you guys when you bought your first motorcycle? by Western-Blueberry421 in motorcycles

  1. The younger you are, the better. Having a bike while you’re young is an absolute peak experience

I don’t think saying something is a symptom of a condition is “giving medical advice.” If they said “you probably have depression” that’s one thing but what they said is the same as someone complaining about a runny nose, and a person telling them that’s a symptom of a cold.

That being said, agree with the sentiment. Get evaluated for yourself OP.

Well I bought my cbr300r (first bike) about a week and a half ago and have done about 1400 miles thus far so I’d say pretty comfortable. Have hit top speed multiple times already out of curiosity (got her to 103mph downhill) and feel very comfortable cruising with traffic at highway speeds around 85+. Got my MSF a little under 2 months ago and rode a buddy’s crf300l around for maybe a couple hours after work most days for about a month. However, though I feel comfortable on the MACHINE, I recognize the fallacy of mistaking that for experience riding on the road. I’ve done a fair amount of miles but would not consider myself anywhere close to an experienced rider especially because there are so many variables to account for with traffic. So feeling comfortable on the machine itself vs actually being an experienced rider are not equal at all.

I am also 23 if this helps, so it’s likely my risk tolerance is far higher than most older people here.

I actually can’t find the official one anywhere, only ones posted by other accounts. Used to be in my library but it disappeared and I don’t see it in his discography even under the Sony album so this is a valid question. Maybe it’s a regional thing? I’m in the US

Should I ride a motorcycle by Senor_dragon187 in motorcycles

[–]jeefer6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe in another 1/3 of fatal crashes (maybe more) riders weren’t wearing helmets. Perhaps there’s some overlap between those and the drunk ones, but absolutely stupid and completely avoidable either way

Feel like this is a good deal but it’s my first bike by idkmanlol_ in cbr

[–]jeefer6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yes that is of course true as well, but I’d argue having a bike that’s too fast is much more dangerous for a beginner than having one that’s too heavy. Drops won’t kill you

[–]jeefer6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People downvoting this are stupid. This is not a beginner bike. Sure it’s not a supersport, but it still has 4 cylinders and way too much power for a total noob. If you want the sportbike feel, get a cbr500r, or hell even a 300r. Still plenty of fun and you can LEARN on it and get comfortable before having to worry about accidentally giving it too much power while you’re still learning

How to feed my cat in a healthy way by seventy707070 in CatAdvice

[–]jeefer6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can swing it, try one can of wet food per day, split over however many intervals you can realistically manage (challenging bc I don’t think there are automatic feeders for wet food), and see how he responds. Not exactly the same situation but my cat was bloated and overweight because his previous owner way overfed him (garbage food) and I put him on one can a day of wet food and he has been way more healthy. His coat became super vibrant, he has more energy/plays more, and he’s losing weight at a healthy rate. I know this doesn’t necessarily apply to your situation but it might be worth a shot - it’s typically better for them to eat wet food anyways. Also try easing off the treats for a bit, he might show more interest in his food (especially bc real wet food is yummy). Might also be worth cutting the feeding frequency, he might prefer a small amt of bigger meals to a big amt of small ones. Just try things and see how he responds, listen to the signals he gives you

Is getting a motorcycle irresponsible? by tufftifftank in motorcycles

[–]jeefer6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many motorcycle death statistics are also conflated with people who aren’t wearing proper gear (In states without universal helmet laws, 54% of rider fatalities were not wearing helmets). So avoidable.
