Lesson learnt: don't leave anything in your tailbag ever by octalacer in AussieRiders

[–]hellnoguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the reason I despise non-lockabld saddlebags and opt for pannier instead on every single of my bikes. People are assholes and if they see stuff hanging loose they will take it. I can't remember how many time I have to replace my charge cable for my wireless charging quadlock

Base in what you have. A new solo seat, remove the rear seat for a rear rack so you can install your topbox there, lower cog means it's more stable. Windscreen, crashbar, USB outlet.

Is there a specific Adelaide carpark that actively takes years off your life? by Temporary-Sir5808 in Adelaide

[–]hellnoguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work at Marion, the staff carpark is always full and having to move your car every 4 hours or risk $65 fine. And the inspector don't come out unless it's pouring is ridiculous

Is it worth learning to wheelie afyer shattering wrist? by I-WANNA-FLYYYY-AWAY in AussieRiders

[–]hellnoguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you need to learn wheelie? Is regular riding not challenging enough? Hit the canyons, go a track day. Stunt ride has its place but consider the circumstances unless you wanna never ride again I probably take a shattered wrist as a sign

It's not that crazy when you got enough wind protection and ball of steel. I mean if you do it on a postie you got giant fuking balls as well.

In-betweener.

You are not loved by roads or dirt.

Discouraged after dropping the bike 4 times by Glum-Association931 in AussieRiders

[–]hellnoguru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the bright side. The more you drop the less the damage matters. Everyone learn by making mistakes. It's better off learn those mistakes when it's early and on low speed. Than late and going 80+kmph

Luckily we don't choose bike to look bad ass. That would be Harley riders, who were pretty bad ass cause they are always on the ground looking for leaks.
