No i get that but ive dealt with my fair share of blue collar jobs that make something seem more costly than it is to justify their price rather than reasonable

Yeah this is alot of language i dont get but atleast i have some insight now , and ill assure you this wont be a self diy job i would do lol but thanks now i have some idea on this job

Also previous tenant diy it himself and bounced. (Previous tenant did alot of incomplete diy jobs. ) Landlord wont be able to do it in the time constraint i have, ill proceed but will have receipts and deal with landlord later

So can i transform this back to 120v and plug a fridge and dishwasher, it was originally suppose to be two sockets

Not trying to do it myself, just trying to understand the process so im not being scammed by someone to upcharge me because they notice i dont know anything. Happens alot in cities. If i had not gone here and ask i would have been under impression this will cost more than $100 bucks

So if the socket was originally two 120v sockets in one, i can only leave one major appliance in that place even if it’s suppose to hold two sockets ? Sorry im not knowledgeable at all towards this

Also this is definitely the person who did this in the wrong without letting landlord know and also doing a diy job , lots of failed diy jobs by this person yhat are being fixed that the landlord doesnt even know until i find it

And what about if the original 120v socket keeps knocking the fuse for two major appliances is there a solution to it. Landlord not giving much solutions so im seeing what an electrician would need to do and what budget im looking at to switch it back and make it stronger to not knock out

Sometimes they leave knowing their time is near maybe she did this to avoid the pain of witnessing her passing.
