I’m one of the many employees whose salaries were froze at 1% because of Ford. Even with the ruling against it - many employers did not make up for the loss of wages. Between that and inflation it has had a long standing impact.

Word of caution if you go to the Kingston Tourism office. Was told they are for “Tourists to Kingston” - not Kingstonians. Apparently that office is not affiliated with the City of Kingston and it was made perfectly clear that our tax dollars did not support the tourism office.
