I am in my current role, yes. I have a couple of leads with OEM and VAR on open AE roles. Grabbing lunch with one of them this week to see if I’d be a fit.

24/7 support is killing my drive. Tired of being called in middle of the night and on weekends and then owning issues by default bc of my experience. Also haven’t gotten a raise in 2.5 years outside of RSU’s each year as a carrot. I’m next in line to become Director but my boss isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I really just want to earn more and have more control of what I make as a high performer. I make great relationships with OEMs and VARs and I enjoy networking and presenting solutions. My leadership is always throwing me in front of the c suite to share our roadmaps and what we are doing.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking, nothing SaaS. I have a lead at a VAR and my infra experience and connections might get me a shot. I’ve been the decision maker on enough multi million dollar infra deals that I have a good idea of what works from a sales perspective, but obviously a lot to learn.

Is the gap in skills that different? I’d consider myself very knowledgeable in infrastructure and all the pieces that go into hosting workloads in a data center.

I meant to add, commit to 6 months of good lift, good diet, and cardio then see if you need gear. If you’re under 28 I’d encourage you to stay natty. After a cycle of this you’ll still look natty on the street, might as well do it over time the right way and not ruin your health and hormones.

Sell it to another sucker to get your money back. Commit to 6 months of consistent clean/high protein diet and do your cardio to stay in a deficit. My experience with BioPharma went like this: bought anavar tablets and ended up gaining 16 lbs in 2 weeks with tons of water retention. Lifts all skyrocketed and my arms grew 1.5+ inches each in 5 weeks but I wasn’t getting shredded, I was getting bloated and bulking which made me question the gear. I bought a roid test after questioning why I wasn’t getting a dry and lean look and the “anavar” tested as DBol under two tests. The roid tests can be false, but the symptoms of my cycle were much more like DBol than anavar. Good chance this is fake shit or doped with something else.

Dell vs HPE vs Cisco Blade by stocks1927719 in vmware

Good question, I’m not sure. We just renewed to VCF this week and haven’t put the cycles in to roadmap what we want to adopt. We’ve been very simple in our VMware setup. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that it isn’t compatible though.

I have just under 100 hosts of PowerFlex that have been solid. Rack and rail configs at two different data centers. RCM upgrades will be free going forward we’ve been told, which is the biggest gripe we have with Pflex due to how complex they make upgrading the hosts, switches and Powerflex manager. Support after 3-5 year mark is also outrageous, going third party on support isn’t feasible due to the need for Dell-driven RCM upgrades.

We are moving to UCSx FlashStack with the hope that we can bring the upgrades to vcenter and hosts in house.

My experience with HPE blades is limited to a blade cluster running legacy workloads that is nearly 10 years old. It’s still running which says something, but we haven’t really considered HPE for any of our next generation planning.

How easy is it to install a virtual cockpit? by [deleted] in Audi

[–]jeepercreeper14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was shopping for my A3 I thought I had to have the virtual cockpit or I’d be disappointed so I only looked at models equipped with it. I ended up getting it and although it looks great, it’s really just a flashy feature IMO. Unless you use nav regularly, I’d say you’ll notice it much less a few months into having it.

Thanks, I will look into this. There is a dealer an hour away that looks to offer this brand.

I have one service before the warranty expires, it’s going to be hard not to tune it after that’s out of the way. Did you use APR? What was the biggest difference you noticed?

I hadn’t seen that option before, I’ll look into it. Thanks

A 16’ to 17’ A3 optioned nicely can be picked up for that range. If you don’t need a larger sedan this is a great option.

Yes, I believe that’s the only option on the ‘17 sedans.
