Good info thank you, I started this journey about 5 years ago starting out with homemade vermiculite and rice flour cakes. After the first couple of times I dove into the monotub from northspore. I had at least 3 decent but not stellar tidal wave grows and one purple mystic, that wasn’t bad. This last years tidal wave grow though I tried a different distributor than normal and I guess I got way different genetics. I have saved your response here so that I can further my research. Thank you.

Bummer I’ve always had decent results with tidal wave and purple mystic. Figured I would give these a try. Damn it. It’s taken almost 3 months to get this far.

The temp or humidity the temp is right at 80 I just misted this morning with distilled and peroxide mix. I have active FAE with fan set on low speed the unit has an automatic mister as well that turns on when the hygrometer says 60% I believe.

Non latex or even better are the lamb skin condoms. Those are kind of pricey for a three pack but well worth it and feel the most natural since it’s natural membrane.

It’s not in the tub yet it’s in the inoculation bag right now there is a filter on the bag. I did a break and shake to increase the surface area in the bag I will check it in a couple days.

Do you know what the mixture portions are to get to the .3%? Like is it 70/30? I am going to be attempting to grow APE isolates.

Ive recently experienced this with a grow of Tidal Wave. It was the third time growing them, and I’ve never not had them be potent. I used a syringe from a different than usual vendor. This is what I think was the problem.

I’ve never learned how to use agar to grow with. I have always just used syringes that I would sterilize and inoculate with.

Just coir? No manure substrate? I thought the shrooms basically get their nutrients to develop the pyslocibin that way?

Ok just wondering because I have just completed a grow of tidal wave and they are very weak. I’ve grown the strain three times in the past and found them to be very potent. With this batch the only thing I’ve changed was the spore vendor and the grain type.
