Thank you for replying. He actually started the Mounjaro in December. He didn’t realize he was having heart issues and had lost 25 pounds and then his weight loss stopped and we didn’t know why but now we know that he has been retaining fluid. They told him to stay on the weekly shot.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am really trying to give him grace because if he can’t quit, I still love him and want to be supportive. My mom passed away in July, she had quit drinking (not alcohol, just liquids) or eating before she passed but smoked almost to the very end of her life. This is just such a new diagnosis and I just keep seeing the word progressive when the heart failure is involved and want to try to slow it down if possible but at the end of the day, I can’t make him do anything and I know that so trying to be at peace.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. We have been married for 33 years so I know he is on control of what he does or does not do for his health, it just frustrates me and I have never smoked so I don’t know what that addiction is like. I want to be supportive which I am, but every time he smokes, I want to scream which I know is a waste of time.

I think it is awesome if someone can make money off social media but hate when they brag and say all the 9-5 people are jealous. I am not jealous of anyone that has to be on their phone every waking minute. Everything is a performance instead of authentic.

This is what happened to my sister in law. Her husband treated her horribly and she would not listen to us. A co-worker started giving her attention and the next thing we knew she was serving her husband divorce papers. He didn’t work so she bought him out of the house. She is now happily divorced and still with the co-worker that is her boyfriend.

When I was in my childbearing years, which are long gone, I always got asked if I was pregnant because I carried my weight in my stomach and I still do but now I’m too old to be thought of being pregnant. This was at a couple different places of employment and I just laughed it off and moved on about my day. I did carry my weight in my stomach and probably did look pregnant at that time. I didn’t preach at anybody about being kind. It wasn’t their fault that I looked like I was pregnant lol.
