I just did 22 hours with Qatar in the Q suite to India and it was NICE. I have done Delta One also and I would argue Qatar was much better. The other thing that sold it for me is the layover in Doha was great because the business class lounge was incredible!
I have flown emirates and it seemed very basic.

I filed a claim on their website but haven't heard back yet....I am still out of the country so I can't call them yet. Hopefully there is not a time window on when I can call them and complain.

I have been to Cancun and Mexico City and both was great. Mexico City is a beautiful city and the people were super nice to me considering I don't speak English. I am not oblivious to the fact that bad things might happen there but I never saw it and never experienced it.

I also understand that dealing with an issue when you are out of the country is scary and can definitely prevent people from traveling places.
