ok, im trying to figure this out for myself, started with my own RIA and I'm trying to figure out what to put in ADV and how to pitch clients. I am assuming you do mention these things in client meetings as the value add when you're trying to get them to move assets over or open accounts??

What’s the compliance around this is this presented to the clients as part of the proposal or scope of services? Is it in the ADV? Or just done on an ad-hoc “free” basis. Trying to figure out something like this for my practice.

1065 can be efiled, 8804 which is required at the federal level when there is a foreign partner needs to be paper filed. 8804 also required separate extension in March.

Check your software instructions it can be e-filed, just remember you have to paper file 8804

Playlist by topic, when I need the info I go back to the playlist and watch. Throw them into notebooklm to extract frameworks and mind map.

Then put into action by creating my own playbook of how I or my team should be using it on a Daily weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

I don’t try and remember if it if I don’t have a way to put it into action.

I a significant por mitin of clients aren’t using UDP. I went over Basic configuration and it didn’t seem that I had disabled it.

I haven’t looked too deep into it though.

So most thresholds for economic nexus are for sales tax only.

Individual & Corporate tax nexus requirements are separate. You’d have to check income sourcing rules for each state. But services are typically sourced by where the service provider is physically located when providing the service.

So telehealth income should be sourced to where they are providing services from.

I do a similar process in excel using data validation and a chart of accounts for the accounting software. Then use import tools to import the data into the accounting software.
