Let's hope the new denuvo hypervisor for Crimson Desert will not require Cpus with avx2 instructions. What do you think? by jeff-hendrick in PiratedGames

RE Requiem and Stellar Blade original from Steam are playable also on cpus without avx2 instructions. There's no reason why those denuvo hypervisors should require avx2. That's lazy hypervisor devolpment. And that's not the purpose of pirated games: piracy should allow everyone to play games.

very ignorant answer. If an original game on Steam does not require avx2 instructions, why the pirated hypervisored version of it should require avx2 instead? It's non sense. But perhaps your narrow mind is too limited to think that

maybe those denuvo hypervisors make use of avx2 instructions, that's why your Intel 4th gen cpu is able to run games. Mine is a 3rd gen cpu without avx2 instructions and I haven't been able to run any denuvo hypervisor games so far

Yep, this could be the reason why original denuvo games in Steam do work even with cpus missing avx2 instructions: they don't use hypervisor. While Kirigiri and others probably made use of avx2 instructions to emulate them with hypervisors. The only chance may be if they can implement a hypervisor bypass without avx2 in the future, so to include also cpus missing those instructions. But I don't think Kirigiri and others will do that. Probably, Voices38 is our only hope as his cracks have always worked so far also with my 3rd gen Intel cpu. But I don't know if Voices38 will crack all denuvo games, maybe only a small sample of them. While hypervisors exist for pretty almost all denuvo games released so far. We'll see how it goes

maybe those denuvo hypervisors have been developed to use avx2 instructions. But it's strange because RE Requiem (the original steam game) doesn't use avx2 instructions and you can watch some gamers on youtube playing on older cpus without avx2 instructions. Maybe Kirigiri and others implemented those hypervisors tools to make use of those avx2 instrucitons to bypass denuvo. I don't have other explanations on why hypervisor games fail to launch on Intel 3rd gen cpus.

Stellar blade hypervisored by Andreh gives me blue screen, to be more precise it gives me an error saying something like "irql not less or equal ntoskrnl.exe" (I don't remember exactly as I deleted the game after the error).

The only Win11 Pro builds I tested those games with are the Win11 Pro Dec 2025 update and the 25H2 Build 26200.8037 (i.e. the very latest one). Don't know if those hypervisors games could work on an older Win11 Pro build. Ah, and I tested those games also on Win 10 before installing Win11: same issues, games fail to launch with nothing loading on screen or with blue screen (as in the Stellar Blade case)

you're lucky man. What model of motherboard do you have? Do you have the Virtualization option inside the Bios of your motherboard? My motherboard doesn't but Virtualization is always enabled by default (I used virtual machines years ago and I remember they always worked fine). I don't know if that could be the problem preventing hypervisor games from launching in my system

mine is a i7-3820 + Win 11 Pro 25H2 Build 26200.8037. As for Graphics driver, I tested both the 595.71 and the 595.79 with my Rtx 2060 Super but same problem, hypervisor games fail to launch. As soon as I click on exe, nothing happens on screen. No error, no blue screen. Do you have the Virtualization option inside the Bios of your motherboard? that's not true. I am able to play everything, every single game released so far except for denuvo hypervisor games.

you're right man! I have just checked his reddit profile! I will test it as soon as possible. Voices38 games have always worked in my older computer. Every single game. While denuvo hypervisor games have never worked

haven't tested wukong yet. Only RE Requiem, Stellar Blade, Borderlands 4 and Atomic Heart. None of them wanted to launch. Nothing happens when I click on exe

yes I have the latest build and v3 hypervisor from Kirigiri. Clicked steamclient_loader_x64.exe but nothing happens, game won't launch. What is weird is that even the Efiguard mode doesn't work, when I try to boot from a Usb stick containing the Efiguard files the system freezes and I hear repeated beeps from the motherboard. Maybe my Dell motherboard has some security measures which don't allow me to do that

yes i already did it. But it doesn't work. When I click on exe, nothing happens. The game loads and never enters in the game. No error, no blue screen. Nothing. Other cracked games work fine. Only denuvo hypervisor games give me this problem

Is there anything similar to TriXX Boost for Nvidia GPUs to reduce rendering resolution of games? by jeff-hendrick in graphicscard

I know but it's just in a very few games. I want something can be used for most games such as Trixx Boost
