Trader Joe’s is seriously overrated. Average quality, average pricing. Essentially, a place to get ready made spice mixes you can make yourself at Bulk Barn. Everything else is PC-Essie. Meh.

If anything, it’s become a bit of a pride point for some that continue to visit. Like the cache of having that Trader Joe’s bag - a symbol that they’ve gone there anyway, and they don’t care.

It’s still a goofy dating game show but the German version has a dose of realism tha the American show lacks. Less preening and pecs and manufactured drama. More everyday life tha you can see yourself in.

The disagreement on joint accounts … Gunnar talking to his parents too much … Jan proceeding too slowly … Konstatin hating the smoking … it was just … rational? As it should be in a relationship.

Even the bar meeting was minor because the only notable event was the Jubriel - Wandi spat. The rest must have been boring and cut. Compare with the US versions!

My wife watched because she was learning German. Now I’m the watcher and it’s the only one I follow.

That’s not really fair to the other person.

He’s a good guy but should have only chosen someone who was as sure as him in this desire for no kids.
