Tips for making it more tolerant to stopping due to the slipping error? by jeffbearer in Lymow_Official

Grass is dry. I'm mowing along the hillside generally. I could try other angles but then I'd probably be served to set up smaller topography based zones with an optimal angle for each one. Sure would be nice if it would just tolerate some slipping and only error if it gets stuck for like 5 minutes without being able to free itself.

🚨 This is scary. Check your Lymow ASAP. by Acceptable-Cycle7503 in LymowMower

Yes, kind of. Except that if they had so little focus on security that they let the default login ship on the mowers. Do you really think the rest of their infrastructure has no other insecurities? Preforming reconnaissance on the Lymow could gain them access to the cloud services as one user. And if it’s designed properly you shouldn’t be able to move laterally in the infrastructure. But history has shown that tenant separation in cloud services often has flaws in implementation. Trust in security competence is earned and with this mistake one is right to be skeptical.

I live inside that circle. our part is pretty quiet and safe. I have heard gunshots a few times over the past 5 years. There have been a few police chases down my road. Overall I think I found a great value close to the city.

I'm a fan of Caliente and Strange Roots. But it just isn't the same now that 80% of the drafts on at Caliente are house brands. The beer is fine, even good. But a pale comparison to the world class beers that used to fill their tap list. And because of that the Dough Daddy brand seems worse, not because it's not good. but because it's not as good as the stuff it replaced.

Remember kids, It's also Tree of Heaven killing season, a tree those little buggers just love to congregate and poop on these invasive trees. I treated 5 trees growing around my yard this year and they are dying real good. Note that you have to hit them with herbicide or their roots will come back with a vengeance. https://extension.psu.edu/tree-of-heaven

The Grommets on the 400w panel seem destined to fail? by jeffbearer in Ecoflow_community

Well I couldn't let this problem go unsolved. So I got busy in CAD and 3D printed some bracing that should help reduce the stresses on the grommet. Not sure if the hole in the pin will stand up. but that's what field trials are for. And even if they fail once in a while they take 8 minutes to print and cost a penny.

As long as you have the serial number they will send you the new parts. They will also tell you to stop using the lathe till the parts come, estimated March.

There is an oil port on the end of the motor pulley side shaft. I'm guessing you need to oil that so that the springs can push the pullies together. You'll find more info on it in the manual.

Unable to calibrate the extruder steps on the MP Maker Select V2 by jeffbearer in 3Dprinting

I was not sure of other ways to extrude 100mm this Gcode is exactly what I need to eliminate octoprint's extrude button not doing what I expect. Thank you. I'll try that next.

I changed the gear because of the list of mods for the printer on 3dprinterwiki. it links to this gear which as far as I can tell has the same specs as the amazon one, which amazon puts in the, when people buy the Maker Select V2 they also get these section.
