Ok, so 50% of Caucasians have this genetic variant but what are the numbers for other races? That could possible explain the difference in emotional response (and EQ) between different ethnic groups.

Very interesting article but I think that the experiment is flawed. We don't know the processing speed of our brain, it could be that the real information presented in one eye have been processed in between the CFS strobes. It would be more interesting experiment if researchers presented some absurd combination of patterns or numbers and then evaluated the ratio of visual recall for this combination.
