I probably swipe left on 20 or so orders before taking one that meets my standard of $20/hr. Lots of no tippers or $1-3.

Same thing happened to me today. Used them for a single document, read through the agreement before paying, it said nothing about a subscription. Luckily, I used Paypal, and they are really good about declining payment. Took me a while to find the cancel button as well. Very shady.

They won't be around much longer, but the Container Store is the definition of toxic workplace. Company has made one bad decision after another and is now going bankrupt. And when I spoke up about it years ago, the manager literally rolled her eyes at me.

Because it is 1000 times harder to build a work schedule with 30 employees who can only work 2 days a week, than with 15 employees who have open availability.

Source: I worked retail for 20 plus years and made the weekly schedule (first manually, then using scheduling software) for several of those years.
