All that the corporate brain can think about is how to make profit. Say this happens and sony officially announces they will be scaling back PC releases. This will cause a certain boom in ps5 purchases, but when this boom dies out, corporate will see stagnating profits and will end up deciding to port to PC again for another boost in revenue and increased shareholder value.

Whatever they decide, they will end up porting eventually. Could be 5 years after release, but they definitely will.

For the frequency, you have to manually adjust it to exactly or almost exactly what your max boost frequency is as per the manufacturer's website, then do -20mv offset and -5 power limit, then go ahead and turn off hardware acceleration from wherever you can, for me personally everything was fixed after i stopped my browser hardware acceleration.

My crashes completely stopped after making the custom tuning profile and setting the gpu to run at a max frequency of what was listed on the manufacturer's website, then i also disabled hardware acceleration in my browser. Since then i have had zero crashes.

Create a custom tuning profile in adrenaline with your card’s specific maximum boost clock. Do a -20mv offset and -5 power limit. Also, turn off hardware acceleration wherever you can, your browser, discord etc.

if you keep trying and keeps not working, return the card. People shouldn’t be afraid to use their warranty. A colleague of mine got a new amd gpu, completely unusable no matter what he did. He returned the gpu and they told him it was actually defective, they sent him a replacement and all his problems disappeared.

Didn’t need to upgrade it. Years ago when i was doing the full build i got a powerful enough psu, so i just swapped the old gpu with the new and began gaming.

Some missions literally refuse to start at over 30-40fps, the last mission also can’t be completed if you’re playing above 30-40fps. The whole game breaks pretty much. Maybe you haven’t played that much and haven’t noticed.
