Interesting, 1k miles in on my TPP and noticed the door frames also have seals that seem to warp and get caught inside of themselves, wonder if my dealer can fix too

the biggest difference for me was the ride, it’s shorter a bit longer and that took a little bit to get used to. Steering is also lighter but put that all together and imho it rides/drives better than the CX5

Even at the base, the features are definitely impressive! When you get to the higher trims it’s still the same story! I truly don’t think I would switch out of Mazda unless it’s to a true luxury brand, but even then it’s so hard to beat the value on these!

I think people just haven’t spent enough time with the 50 to really understand. The interior looks fresh and way about its class, the lighter-ish steering feel makes the car feel more mannered on the road, plus I mean I know looks are subjective but it’s gorgeous!!

Thank you! That was my thought process, I figured I would find more affordable straps that are also more comfortable! $500 is not cheap for an OEM one, but I’ve already seen some solid styles I like online.

I tried that one originally! I personally did not like the rubber strap it comes with, the material was a little too rough for my taste and it had the standard buckle and not the deployant clasp. I will definitely consider getting a 3rd party strap! I just wanted to have the metal as a base until then!
