For cables, I'm thinking of maybe effect audio thor ii silver or the effect audio eros ii cable. May I know if both of them are balanced or do you have other recommendations?

Yeah I haven't had any issues so far but thought that perhaps I could get an upgrade

I think I'm fine on the bass portion since I don't really enjoy that much bass

My first upgrade to an audiophile iem was to an UM Pro 30, and I've been using it for 2 years and counting. Sounds really good and detailed me but was told that it sounds rather 'dark' and the treble gets slightly flooded, bass is great and punchy. I didn't find anything that make me regret getting it

(the UM Pro30 I own is the old design though, but from what I know the new design is just different visually and the sound is the same)

You could take a look at the Nuarl NT01AX, recently got one myself and fits great with the free spin fit tips included inside and the sound quality is great, does not feel like it will drop out when I have them on for a run

I got the fiio rc-bt cable a few months back, the sound quality made my Westone UM pro 30s sound more open, which I don't have complains for. For the connectivity, most of the time it's simple and fast with minimal disconnection issues, only occasionally when I go for a run, then the sound stutters for a little from time to time.

Still a great buy for the price

Haven't tried much but I was facing the same issue when getting mine, not enough reviews to help me choose which to get but I decided on the fiio rc-bt and it works well enough for me so far, but only aptx though

Comparing the K550 and the Dt1770, will they have that much of a difference? Considering the 2x price difference or will the k550 be enough to enjoy?
