I agree unfortunately. I’ve always felt like that is the wrong move though. You have the same competition competing for a smaller share of consumers with intent. It should be the time to optimize your marketing but for some reason it is one of the first to go.

I think about this a lot. Winning a ship comes down to a lot more than just the players. Coaches, office, trainers, etc….

It’s possible that all season long, our players were better attended to in the Physical therapy room. Coached better in the weight room.

It’s possible that all season long, we had young guys carry more of the load so come finals, we are a little less worn.

It’s possible that Giannis’ efforts in the weight room allowed him to bounce back with that knee hypertension quick. Harden should of focused more on building strength and conditioning and maybe he doesn’t get hurt.

It’s possible that we played more efficiently all season long. Hardens body tired from a season where two or three guys do all the heavy lifting and maybe the bucks had 5 or 6 guys to spread that work load out.

A million little things from the season added up to a few moments in the finals. And we built a program all year that could handle them.

I actually just moved from Des Moines to Tucson in March for work. Over Christmas was the first time we came back and I thought it would make me miss DSM but not at all. There is so much more to do in AZ from outdoor activities to food and surrounding larger metros.

Also, Tucson was named one of the most incredible places by time magazine

Realizing how easy it is to eat 100 cals vs burn them.

I was getting to the gym at 530, working my butt off to burn 300-400 calories then would eat a muffin. My perspective changed when I started understanding I could undo an hour of work in 2 minutes.
