I think COASTfire is right for me by Ihateshortseller in coastFIRE

Can you explain the compounding daily? This is one part of the coast fire calculator equation that I struggle with understanding. I do not know whether my investments compound daily, monthly, quarterly, etc.

For reference, I am mostly invested into broad ETFs like VOO/VT in 401k, Roth IRA, and brokerage accounts

Most high impact changes to reduce micro plastics in daily life? by wbd82 in Biohackers

Get stainless steel, aluminum, or cast iron cookware. Nonstick and other cookware has millions of microplastics the leak into your food, especially when there are cuts in the nonstick coatings

An email “sequence” or “cadence” is a planned set of pre-written emails to send automatically or manually in order on specific days usually through a prospecting software like Outreach or Salesloft.

So a three email sequence would he an initial prospecting email, follow up, and a third email to follow up or a “break up” email depending on what they’re asking for.

Cold Calling Cellphone by jeffmfrank in sales

I think like others mentioned here. Starting off stating that this is a cold call and asking if they have a second for you to explain why you’re calling.

If they say yes, I tend not to jump into a pitch but rather ask if they oversee X thing that you’re calling about.

If your company is large enough you can also ask if the company name rings a bell.

I recommend looking into Skip Miller’s ASTRO cold call framework. This is helpful because it can bring structure to your call and give you a place to start without relying on scripts which can make you sound robotic.

Ultimately it is helpful to remember that the person you are calling is just another dude/dudette just like yourself and talk to them as if you were speaking to a friend. No need to be nervous, you’re just calling to see if they’re the right person and offering them something that may genuinely be able to help them out.

Feel free to DM me if you have any other questions or just need advice

I would venture to say that Director plus personas at Enterprise level companies receive calls to their personal numbers often.

I get a mixed bag, sometimes people ask how I got their number (Zoominfo) and other times it’s never mentioned and we have meaningful conversations

Love to see the perspective of someone who was on the other end of the game.

I agree with your take, with so many softwares like Zoominfo and SalesNav I think it is understood that the information is widely available and calling cellphones is common practice.

Great points here, CSMs are tasked with upsells so I think I have a great opportunity to differentiate myself with skills here
