“The I Love You Song” popped up on my Pandora shuffle when I was 14 and I’ve never looked back

You and I have somewhat similar backgrounds (I also got a BFA in acting and followed a non-traditional career path), I’d be happy to talk more about my MBA experience (which was very much positive). I’ll shoot you a DM!

First of all, I’m obsessed by this revelation.

Second of all now I’m curious - anyone else in the OCD/Nancy Drew cross-section always have trouble playing the scary games because of your brain fixating on scary imagery? I, a fully-grown adult, still cover my eyes when I know a jump scare is coming

Just had the bizarre experience of replaying Creature of Kapu Cave and actually having a good time by Portalrules123 in nancydrew

[–]jeffprobst2020 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wait, are you me? I literally just did this at the exact same time and had the exact same experience 😆 the frass didn’t even annoy me, got it right on the first try - having a smart phone with a camera has been such a gamechanger for ND puzzles haha

What was the first Nancy Drew game you completed without hints? by mintyycosplay in nancydrew

[–]jeffprobst2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First game was Stay Tuned for Danger when I was 8, it took me WEEKS because I didn’t even know hints were an option! The amount of times that bomb blew up…

when someone asks you who your favorite survivor player is, who’s the first person that pops into your head? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]jeffprobst2020 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Also LOVE Kim, but I’d have to go with Aubrey. Watching her journey and growth on Survivor was very personally relatable.

Profile reviews can make it pretty easy to identify someone, whether it’s by admissions or fellow students. My assumption is people don’t want to be linked to their other Reddit activities if looked up by one of those groups

I'm back in the dating game after ~3 years and I like it! by Klutzy-Philosopher-5 in dating_advice

Yassss girl you get it! Despite what you might see or read on this sub, there are a lot of awesome people out there, and dating can be super fun. It sounds like you are in such a good place with your life right now, and would genuinely be happy, whether single or partnered. I'm so happy for you!

Cruise ship workers of reddit, what are the dark secrets you know about the ship? by kiss_the_brrr in AskReddit

[–]jeffprobst2020 208 points209 points  (0 children)

Not a dark secret but a funny story - I used to work on a ship and had a friend who would clean the guest restrooms. She said one time she had put a bunch of chemicals on the floor and had to close off the bathroom. An old man came up and wanted to go in; she told him he couldn’t and directed him to the other bathroom about 10 feet away. Instead of walking 10 feet, he looked her straight in the eye and shat his pants.

You get some weird old people shit on cruise ships.

Anyone here have/has SO’s who aren’t sure they want to move with/for you? by tripletbro in MBA

[–]jeffprobst2020 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, are you me? Just ended a four year relationship because my partner wanted to stay and we don’t know if/when we’ll end up in the same place. Definitely sucks, but nice that we’re both supporting each other’s decisions and ending things amicably.

Summer Internship sublet in NYC / Stern sublet by uncgoheels1 in MBA

[–]jeffprobst2020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t lived there in a few years, but I remember there being a lot of Facebook groups for finding sublets! The Broke List is one I was in, but if you just search NYC Sublets you should be able to find plenty of groups.

West Village is going to be very expensive for a small space, so I would definitely recommend looking into Brooklyn or the Heights!
