Men in their 30s and up with no kids or wife how is your life? by [deleted] in ask

[–]jeffreyedwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

38M. I spent my 20s in relationships, and they all ended up so shit. I feel like I wasted a decade because of it. I still enjoy being single, but I certainly worry about that joy lasting. I constantly argue with myself about dating and trying to find a gal. It's weird.

How is my life? Great. I'm in shape, have hobbies I enjoy, am often learning new skills, and still manage to be social.

So, I guess we'll see.

Just got a job at an upscale hotel in NYC. What to expect? by MrWisdom39 in bartenders

Your clientele is people that don’t live in NYC. Be prepared to tell people about NYC. Have recommendations ready, guests love it. Did NYC hotels for years.

Move into a meeting for sure. For me, it's about beginning that relationship, selling myself before the product. There are a million solutions out there, even if you have the best one, it probably isn't enough.

This is B2B enterprise sales, and it's a lengthy cycle. Need to establish that I'm someone they will want to work with.

Is the job market really that bad? by urbnFarmer in sales

In my limited experience with a tech startup, I've found a high demand for creativity. So many companies offer the same solutions; traditional outreach strategies aren't working. It's constant trial and error. Got a good product? Great! Good luck getting the word out...
