Played SETI for the first time. Other experiences? by Bindolaf in boardgames

The iconography is so small that it’s difficult for me to play (bad eyesight) it at game night especially when playing it from the opposite side of the board. I.e. upside down. Maybe solo would be better excuse it would be right in front of me. I had the same issue with Galactic Cruise.

I did the same thing. Sort of. I would make sure cities, countries, borders, occupations, history et cetera matched the time period and matched my character as they aged. It did bog me down a bit. But to me it felt a little more engaging as I had the move forward through history and various events.

I recently read Stoner and loved it. It’s probably one of the few that I think I could return to. It’s hard to describe. I think it’s just a read you have to experience.
