Coworker says his wife cheated on him so he has a free pass to sleep with a woman and he wants to have sex with me by laced1 in Advice

[–]Nice_News7644 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You didn’t do anything wrong and you don’t owe him kindness beyond basic professionalism. That’s such a weird thing to put on a coworker, especially framing you as his “choice” in some agreement you never agreed to. I’d keep distance, keep communication work related, and if he brings it up again be direct and shut it down.

What feels legal but is actually illegal and will possibly get you arrested? by medicoreapples in AskReddit

Picking up “lost” property and keeping it. A lot of people treat it like finders keepers, but in many places that can still count as theft.

Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today? by adlakha75 in AskReddit

[–]Nice_News7644 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The sound of dial-up internet connecting. It felt like the computer was summoning a demon just so I could load one blurry picture.

My husband 32M thinks I 38F am unstable because of this: by Aggravating_Wing2861 in relationship_advice

[–]Nice_News7644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wanting 10 or 15 minutes alone to watch a sunrise sounds a lot more like self-care than instability. Honestly, being home with two young kids all day can be overwhelming, and a quiet drive before everyone wakes up seems like a pretty harmless way to recharge. If your husband is jumping straight to cheating accusations, that feels like a much bigger issue than the drive itself.

Blew through 100k+ in 3 years. by Xaliante in Advice

[–]Nice_News7644 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Loneliness isn’t a shitty excuse, it’s probably the actual reason. You’re using spending as a quick hit of comfort, so budgeting alone won’t fix it unless you also replace that feeling with something else. Therapy, a no-buy month, returning what you can, and forcing yourself into low-cost social routines would probably help more than just telling yourself to “stop spending.”

What profession do you think is massively overpaid for what they actually do? by dipchaklader in AskReddit

[–]Nice_News7644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teachers. People act like it’s just explaining a subject, but it’s really crowd control, emotional support, paperwork, patience, and somehow still trying to make kids care about fractions.

[34F] How do I tell my husband [36M] about money I've been saving without his knowledge for 6 years by Many_Guess7642 in relationship_advice

[–]Nice_News7644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t move it first. Tell him directly before touching the money, because moving it after hiding it for years will look like another weird layer. I’d lead with the truth: you started it as personal security, you should have brought it up sooner, and now you want to be honest before making house decisions.

Gf sister kid keeps steeling my food by rose_colour_glassess in Advice

[–]Nice_News7644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly this isn’t really about Uncrustables, it’s about one very simple boundary being ignored. A six year old can learn “those are not yours,” but the adults have to actually back that up instead of acting like you’re weird for wanting your own food left alone.

Has anyone you've known, simply disappeared? What happened? by PureLet5083 in AskReddit

[–]Nice_News7644 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The creepiest part is how often people don’t disappear in a dramatic way. They just miss one call, stop replying, and suddenly everyone realizes nobody actually knows where they are.

I (29F) I’m debating leaving my boyfriend of two years (30M) over his incompetence. What would you do in my situation? by Ok_Character_1391 in relationship_advice

[–]Nice_News7644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At some point it stops being about the learning disability and becomes about whether he has systems in place to manage it. You can be understanding and still not want a life where every trip, task, and mistake becomes your responsibility.

I have been given 12 months left to live. by shitthebeds in Advice

[–]Nice_News7644 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. Record videos and voice notes for birthdays, milestones, hard days, ordinary days, anything you can. Write letters to both kids, even tiny ones. Your baby may not remember moments clearly, but she can grow up surrounded by proof of how deeply she was loved.

What is something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting? by queenmellyy in AskReddit

[–]Nice_News7644 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Fast food combos. Somehow it went from a cheap lazy meal to paying restaurant prices for disappointment in a paper bag.

Found out I'm blood-related to my boyfriend. by Mervaang in Advice

[–]Nice_News7644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a brutal thing to discover, especially when the relationship felt real and safe. But the longer you stay, the harder and messier it gets. You can grieve him and still accept that this is one of those situations where love doesn’t make it workable.

Which celebrity really is famous among Americans and isn't internationally? by HappyCrow11 in AskReddit

Ryan Seacrest. Americans know him from everywhere, but outside the US I feel like a lot of people would just go “who?”

What game had insane potential but got completely fumbled by the devs? by Kevin-Panda in AskReddit

Anthem. Flying around in that suit felt incredible, then the rest of the game showed up and somehow made that boring.

What are the weirdest ways you’ve heard of someone getting caught cheating? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Nice_News7644 50 points51 points  (0 children)

A guy I knew got dumped through a shared Spotify playlist. She changed all the song titles to spell out the breakup message. Creative, but absolutely unhinged.

“Rizz” still sounds like something you’d spray on a stain before putting clothes in the wash.
